Drywall Repair & Installation in Mississauga
A hole from a doorknob, a crack that keeps coming back, a ceiling stain from an old leak — drywall damage is the most common repair call in Mississauga, and it’s very fixable. The repair is matched to the damage: small dents and nail pops are filled and sanded; larger holes get a proper patch with backing, tape, and compound built up in coats so the repair disappears under paint instead of telegraphing through it.

Common jobs
- Doorknob and furniture holes
- Cracks at ceiling and window corners (common as Erin Mills and Meadowvale homes settle)
- Water-damaged sections cut out and replaced after the source of the leak is fixed
- Repairs in older Port Credit, Lorne Park, and Mineola homes where plaster-era walls meet newer drywall
- Damage from plumbing or electrical access that needs closing up properly
(Also: new drywall installation for basement rooms and renovations.)
How the job runs
The damaged area is assessed (soft, water-damaged board comes out — it can’t be skimmed over), the patch is set and taped, compound is applied in coats with sanding between, and the surface is left smooth and ready for paint. Painting can be discussed when you book.

FAQs
Can you match the texture of my wall?
Smooth finishes are standard. Textured and stippled ceilings are a different job — ask when you call and you’ll get a straight answer on what’s achievable.
The ceiling stain is from a leak. Can you just patch it?
Only after the leak itself is fixed — patching over an active leak means doing the job twice. Once the source is repaired and the board is dry, the stained section is cut out and replaced.
How long does a repair take?
Small patches are usually a single visit plus drying time between compound coats; larger sections can take return visits for coating and sanding. Your quote will lay out the visits involved.
